Connect with nature in comfort in this riverside dome. The dome is located along Elbow River at Onespot Crossing Campground, a 200 acre family-owned Indigenous campground. Your site includes:

Please note that this is still a rustic, off-grid camping experience with access by gravel road. There are other domes on site.
Pets: We are pet-friendly. There is a fee of $25 per pet, per stay. Please indicate if you’ll be bringing pet(s) when booking. If you would like to bring more than 2 pets, please reach out to us directly to inquire :)
Alcohol: The campground is now an alcohol free environment to support a peaceful and respectful atmosphere for all guests, and the consumption of alcohol is no longer permitted on the premises. Outdoor cannabis use is permitted.
Solar Only: The dome operates on a small solar-powered 12V system. You’ll have:

Please note there is no standard electricity for higher-powered items such as laptops, hair dryers, or portable speakers.
Please note:
Curtains can be pulled across the main bay window for additional privacy
Heating is by wood stove only, there is no other heat source
There is no air conditioning in summer—domes can become quite warm during hot summer afternoons, though they typically cool down nicely in the evenings
The dome is not suitable for leaving pets unattended during hot weather
We strongly recommend reading all seasonal information before booking so you can come fully prepared for the experience.
OFF-SEASON STAYS (Sept 15th-June 15th):
Best suited for adventure lovers and guests comfortable with a more rugged winter camping experience.
The shower is not operational during the off-season
The dome is heated by wood stove only—firewood for the interior stove is included during off-season stays
The dome is not pre-heated prior to arrival—in colder temperatures, it may take 1–2 hours to warm the dome fully, so we recommend arriving earlier in the evening
Outdoor firewood is not included
Guests must bring their own drinking and hand-washing water
AWD or 4x4 vehicles are strongly recommended during snowy conditions
Warm layers and winter-ready clothing are important during winter months
If temperatures are forecasted below -15°C, guests may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund provided at least 3 days’ notice is given before arrival.
PEAK SEASON STAYS (June 16th-Sept 14th):
Perfect for guests looking for a comfortable outdoor escape.
Shared propane-heated outdoor showers available
Rain canopy provided
Firewood for the indoor stove is not included during summer months, as heating is typically unnecessary. Outdoor firewood also not included.

Please note that outdoor fire bans are outside of our control and may be implemented at any time by local authorities, including during your stay. By booking, guests acknowledge and accept this possibility. Refunds or discounts will not be provided due to fire bans or related restrictions.

The GATSBY dome is set up for a maximum of 2 guests (including children). Extra guests must be requested and approved in advance.

Great place to unwind and recharge
Great place to unwind and recharge. The dome was spacious and comfortable. The outhouse was clean and near the dome. Would definitely recommend this spot for a getaway. We will be back!

Really cool place out in the woods. My first time in a place like this and it was awesome, I can't wait to come back.
We were amazed
I surprised my boyfriend with a trip to stay in the Gatsby dome. Instructions to the dome were very clear and it was easy to find once we left town. Check-in was seamless and we were amazed by how clean and beautiful the dome was. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets to help keep us warm. Because we were visiting in winter, they provided all the wood we needed to heat the dome for the 2 nights we were there. During the day, the view from the dome is so relaxing and serene. During the night, we would go for walks around the property and stare at the stars or go sit by the river - but either way all you can do is take it all in!We will definitely be back for another visit and are already talking with friends about coming too.Only recommendation is bring a mirror as none of the domes have mirrors for cleaning your face or getting ready.

Such a beautiful place - Looks exactly like the photos! It was a bit of a drive in, but the host was very clear about how to get in and to make sure we had a good winter vehicle. We had no issues, even with the recent snowfall. Jenna was informative with all instructions and very responsive to messages. It was a cool night, but between dressing warm, stoking the fire a few times throughout the night and the hot water bottle (what a great treat to find!) we stayed nice and toasty. The bed is comfortable and had a bunch of blankets on it to ensure warmth. The steps, outdoor fire pit and path to the outhouse were all shoveled prior to our arrival. The dome and outhouse were both very clean! We’re planning to come back for our anniversary this summer to experience it when the trees are lush and the river is flowing!

Super amazing place! surprised my girlfriend for her birthday, she was stoked. they also set up a birthday sign and the romance add on was a great add! would highly recommend! Host was super responsive and friendly!

We had such a fun experience at the geodome! Such a unique way to try out glamping. Jenna was very clear in regards to what to expect. The dome is decorated beautifully. It’s close to places to eat and to Bragg Creek. Very clear instructions on how to manage the wood burning stove and lots of wood was provided. We stayed at the end of December so we were concerned about staying warm throughout the night. The bed had enough blankets and there were also extras available. We woke up in the morning and the fire had gone out, but we weren’t cold at any point during our sleep. We got a little confused when entering the property because the access gate was closed and we weren’t sure if we needed to enter the gate due to the horses on the other side (which was an awesome surprise!!). Other than that it was exactly what was described!
